Cambria

These are pics from a tour to Cambria on the central coast of California.  It's a little beach town with the typical beach town shops and business.  Close by is San Simeon which is home to the Hearst Castle.  I recommend seeing it at least once if the opportunity arises.  But the real highlight of the trip is the stretch of Highway 1 known as Big Sur.  Nothing compares to the combo's of curves that that are laid out before you on this stretch of road except maybe the spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean and California land that meets it.  That's where most of these pictures are taken.

This is the waterfall at the Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park.  Although I prefer to call it Butt Crack Falls.

Here's just one of the many views of the ocean and the cliffs.

This is the girlfriend on her then bike at the time, a Kawasaki Z1000.  This was on a road just off of Highway 1, Nacimiento Ferguson Road.

This was taken from my bike of my girlfriend and her Z1000.  This was taken just south of Monterey on one of the few stretches of Highway 1 when it bows inland.

This is Bixby Bridge.  One of the bridges that help to arch over some of the gaps in the coastal landscape.
